Lessons
I teach kids (age 7+) and adults, skill levels from day-one beginners to everyday players. We can learn any and every genre of music that you’d like. I enjoy working with individuals and getting a feel for what they want out of playing the drums while offering my guidance along the way. Anything that you want to explore on the drums we will explore!
My hope with teaching is to help other people find something that excites them, gives them confidence and most importantly gives them something they love doing.
I teach drums out of Revival Drum Shop and out of my personal studio in NE Portland, near 42nd & Killingsworth. I offer lessons both in-person and online.
Technique, rhythm, and creating music are all very different yet important aspects of drumming. We can and will explore a little bit of everything. The goal is to have fun because then the learning part just happens!
2024 Monthly Tuition
▪️Weekly/60 min: $275
▪️Weekly/30 min: $165
▪️Biweekly/60 min: $165
*A la carte/60 min (adults only): $90
If requested, trial lessons are *$75/$45 – *this fee is waived upon enrolling in monthly tuition. First month’s tuition is prorated.
